Please note that this article primarily relates to all Photo Books except Mini Photo Books
Choose your book
1. Once you've chosen the book format that you'd like (square or landscape), you must then select the size (medium or large), cover design (title and photo layout) and cover colour. Once you're ready, click 'Start creating'.
Please note that once you've chosen the format/size/colour, you cannot return to change it without starting the whole book again. Your photos will be uploaded to the specific product template chosen. It isn't possible to transfer the images over from product to product without starting from scratch.
Upload Your Photos
2. You'll then be prompted to upload your photos (either from your device, Dropbox, or Instagram). To find out what kind of photo you should upload click here.
Once you select your images and upload to your photo library, you'll be given the option to autofill your book, or select individual page layouts and place images from scratch.
As you're working on your book, your uploaded images be accessed at the bottom of your screen by clicking the 'Photos' button, or by clicking on an individual photo book page where you'll be prompted to add a photo. If you've already added an image to a page but want to switch it to another, you can tap 'replace' to select another photo from your library instead.
If you're editing the cover, you'll also be able to edit your title text here.
Saving Your Project
3. To save your photo book, you must be on the full page list view. If you're on a single photo page, click 'Done' at the top of your screen, which will bring you to the full page list view. From here, you should see a 'Save this project' button at the bottom of your screen which will save any of your recent amendments.
Edit Your Photos
4. Choose from page layouts at the bottom of your screen and select photos from your library to fill the upload boxes.
Use the editing tools above the image to rotate, replace or remove the photo from the page.
Please note, if you're looking for more editing options such as changing an image to black and white, we suggest using a desktop or laptop computer to edit your photo book project, as our mobile/tablet editor does not have this functionality.
You can rearrange photos by pressing and holding down on the arrows next to the page number and dragging to where you'd like to move the photo to instead.
Add Captions
5. You can also add captions to some page layouts by clicking 'Add captions'. This will add a caption box to the page for you and you will need to click on the text to edit with your personalisation. If you change your mind, you can tap 'Remove Captions.' To see more on this, click here.
If you chose a cover with text, don't forget to personalise this too!
As a note, captions are not available on our Mini Photo Books.
Add or Remove Pages
6. To add more pages, you need to go back to the page list view. Once you have scrolled to the very bottom you will see the 'add pages' button. There is a maximum page limit of 100 pages for our medium and large photo books.
7. To remove pages, again you must be on the full page list view. You can delete a spread by clicking on the red trash bin icon.
Please note that as there is a minimum page quantity, it is not possible to delete pages if you have not added any to begin with.
Complete Your Order
8. Once you've finished editing, you can either click 'Save this project' to come back to later, or 'Add to basket' to complete your order.
If you can't see these options you may need to click 'done' at the top of your screen which will bring you back to the page list view.
