The paper we use for stationery cards and invitations is a white, 324gsm Mohawk paper with a matt, eggshell finish. On some products, there is also a Double Thickness, 650gsm paper weight option. The higher the gsm, the thicker the paper/card! You can see samples of both in the sample packs here.
Greetings cards are produced using white, 350gsm, Digital Silk paper.
The paper we use for writing paper is a 78 x 235mm (portrait) warm white, 118gsm Mohawk paper with a matt, eggshell finish.
Our envelopes are also warm white. We offer 7 options for envelopes, 1 plain white envelope, and 6 further options with colour printed inside the envelope which can be viewed and chosen prior to checkout. For more information click here.
Our photobook inner pages are made from Mohawk Superfine in Ultrawhite, featuring an eggshell finish (118gsm)
For framed prints, we print your images on gallery-quality photo paper (310gsm) using 12 colour archival inks.
Calendars are printed on 250gsm gallery silk paper.
The Mohawk mill where we source our paper is wind powered, our cards and envelopes are FSC certified and recyclable, and all packaging of our small-format cards, invites etc is plastic free. We're currently working hard to source plastic-free packaging for our Table Plans and Wedding Signs.
*We measure our paper weight in metric terms, but for point of comparison, 324gsm in basis weight is approximately 120 lb cover, and 650gsm is double this weight.
